Where can I find tracking details?
Please check your inbox for a dispatch confirmation. This will state the tracking number. Occasionally such emails get caught in a spam filter and can be found in the corresponding folder in your mailbox. Should this not be the case, please contact us via the enquiry form below.
Why does my despatch confirmation not contain a tracking number?
We cannot provide tracking details for magazine/newspaper subscriptions, loose-leaf publications or online products.
Where can I find an overview of my current and previous orders?
When you log into your account, you will find the category "Orders" in the drop-down-menu under your name. There you can view your order history and also use the search function "Show search form" on the right handside above the results. If you have purchased an ebook, you can access the respective download link again once you have opened the order details..
What types of delivery are there?
When ordering, you can choose between delviery to an address you specify or collection from one of our bookstores. For deliveries we use DHL, Post or another logistics company of our choice.
What are the delivery costs?
Within Germany we delivery all books, CDs/DVDs, audiobooks, calendars, posters and videos free of charge. Further details on our delivery costs for other items and destinations you will find under Shipping costs.
How reliable are the delivery times stated?
The delivery times stated best reflect when you can expect your order. If we become aware of an extended delivery time, we will contact you and inform you accordingly.

Is a return free of charge?
A return is free of charge if a product is faulty or damaged or if you have received a wrong item.
Will I receive a refund after returning an item?
The processing of a credit depends on the payment method selected when placing your order. Under the category "Orders" you can look up the payment method used. Further information and ways of contact can be found on this page under the "Bookings & Payments" section.
Which documents must be included with my return?
The delivery note or a copy of it. Please state the reason for the return and use the form below to announce the return.
Can I cancel ebooks?
All details around the purchase of an ebook you will find under E-Book FAQs (ger).
Can I return damaged or incorrectly delivered goods?
We will of course take back damaged goods, as well as incorrect deliveries. In such cases, we generally cover the costs of return. Please use the form below to request a return label.
What is the return period?
Under the right of withdrawal consumers can return an order in whole or in part within 14 days of receiving the goods. Should you like to return something after this period, please contact us using the below form or contact our customer service. If you have individually agreed on longer viewing periods, these will of course apply. Exception: If a title has a hidden fault (e.g. printing error in a book), the return period ends once the fault is discovered. Further information can be found under Right of Withdrawal.

What notice periods do apply?
As your service provider, we are bound to the notice periods of the respective publishers. You will find those details in our webshop or under "further details" in your order. In order to best accommodate your request, please use the box for date and comments in the form below.

How long does it take to activate a database?
A database gets activated within 7-10 working days, depending on the provider. If we become aware of a longer processing time, we will contact you and inform you accordingly.
Where do I find my access credentials?
In most cases you receive your access details via email. Please also check your spam folder if needs be.
Why is my login not working?
This can have various reasons. Please delete cache and cookies in the settings of your browser first. Should you still encounter login issues, please contact us using the form below.

When does a change of address take effect?
Changes of contact person and email address take effect the following working day. Changes to delivery and invoice adress take within 2-3 working days
My delivery was already despatched before the address change. Is it possible to subsequently adjust the address?
Unfortunately, subsequent changes are not possible. If the order cannot be deliverd to your previous address and there is no forwarding order, the shipment will be returned to Schweitzer. We will arrange a re-shipment to the correct address upon receipt of the delivery.

How do I get my invoice/credit note? Are the documents included with the goods or do I receive them by mail or PDF?

What is the status of my invoice/credit note? e.g. Has the invoice been paid or has the credit note already been offset?

What payment methods are there?
We can offer you different payment methods for orders on this website. The options depend on the respective shopping cart, the type and country of delivery as well as the respective context. More detailed information can be found under Payment methods.
How can I change my preferred payment method?
You can change your preferred payment method under "Personal data" in your customer account. When you log in, it is in the drop-down menu under your name.
What are the payment terms?
If you order against an invoice, you have a payment term of 30 days after receiving the invoice. There is no need for action when making payments via PayPal, SEPA direct debit mandate or credit card.

How can I find out about new titles myself?

Is there a price difference between digital and print subscriptions?
Usually, there is not much of a price difference between digital and print subscriptions.
Are all print titles also offered digitally?
No. It completely depends on the the publishers' offers. We are happy to check with the publisher or offer alternatives.
Can you recommend alternative publications?
Thanks to our years of experience, we can provide you with advice that does not only stretch across a multitude of publishers but is also independent. This allows us to create a customised product portfolio.
