This interactive multimedia teaching program provides the user with a step-by-step guide to the practical techniques used in operating practice. 3D animation, live video footage, and short lectures by the authors help to illustrate all aspects of minor surgery, from the setting up of the operating room to post-operative follow-up. The necessary topics are covered to ensure the development of correct, safe operating techniques. Technical requirements are: 386 CPU; 8Mb RAM; sound board and speakers; graphics board with minimum 1Mb RAM and 24-bit colour capacity at 640 x 480 resolution; and SVGA monitor.
