The second section includes additional controls relevant to listed buildings, tree preservation and advertisements. This sixth edition has been expanded to include extensive references to the 1991 Planning and Compensation Act; also featured is a new chapter on hazardous substances, to take into account the new Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990. Incorporated as well are the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
