Microplastics and nanoplastics have been recently found in most environmental media and in living organisms, thus representing a serious health concern of yet poorly known adverse consequences. This book summarizes recent findings on the sources, behavior, transformation, toxicity and remediation of microplastics, with focus on soils, water, wastewater, air, soils, plants and corals. Advanced methods for sampling, characterization, removal and degradation of microplastics.
Dr. Chongqing Wang is professor at Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, China. He obtained his PhD degree in chemical engineering from Central South University, China. He has published over 90 research papers.
Dr. Wang is the principal investigator of 7 research projects from Chinese government, and he has obtained 15 Chinese licensed patents. He has been serving as Associate Editor of Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association, Associate Editor of International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, Advisory editorial board of Clean Soil, Air, Water, and editorial board member of Journal of Environmental Exposure
Assessment, Sustainable Horizons, and Sustainability. His academic background involves waste management, recycling of solid wastes and sustainability. Dr. Wang is experienced in separation and recycling of waste plastics and microplastic removal from aquatic environment. He has published high-quality papers about microplastics.
Dr. Sandya Babel is professor at the School of Biochemical Engineering and Technology, Sirindhorn International Institute
Sciences.
Dr. Eric Lichtfouse is professor of environmental sciences and scientific writing at the State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering, International Research Center for Renewable Energy, Xi'an Jiaotong
University. He has invented single sample molecular chronology, a molecular-level method allowing to study the dynamics of organic compounds in temporal pools of complex media. He is Chief Editor and founder of the journal Environmental
Chemistry Letters, and the book series Sustainable Agriculture Reviews and Environmental Chemistry for a Sustainable World. He is the author of the book Scientific Writing for Impact Factor Journals, which includes an new writing tool, the micro-article, allowing to identify results novelty. He has awards in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry and scientific editing. In sport, he is XTerra World Vice-Champion in his age category.

Dateiformat: PDFKopierschutz: Wasserzeichen-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
Systemvoraussetzungen:
