"We have reached the point. This is the pinnacle of the appendix. If you read the book and only want to recommend one part, recommend this section. As the connoisseurs say, 'If you read this and don't run out of the church, you are a lost cause'."
"Arm yourself with this text and with the entire Old Testament and go prepared for the judgment of your life. There is no way that God would condemn you after this proof that we have just seen."
There are things that can make you doubt. There are others that can make you suspect and sow discontent. But there are some that are fatal for Christianity, and there comes a time when you cannot ignore them.
In these memoirs, I describe how key aspects of my life led me to find those fatal things?after many years of discovery, struggle, and study. I think I found them because my curiosity brought me to them, but without a doubt, I think there was also an element of providential intervention. Join me in this quest and see if perhaps you have already found some too.

Carlos A. Torrenegra E. was born in Cali, Colombia, and grew up in the cities of Barranquilla and Bogotá. He currently lives in Ibagué. He is an electrical engineer from the Universidad de los Andes, with a master's degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Surrey. He works as an engineer in the telecommunications field. Carlos is married to Angélica and has two children, Joaquín and Antonio. He also has a dog, Leopoldo, and a cat, Romeo. This is his first book. He wants to leave it as an intellectual legacy to his children so that when they grow up, they can decide whether they want to incorporate this heritage into their lives.
Carlos has dedicated the last few years of his life to researching Semitic philology; more specifically, he has concentrated on the field of classical Hebrew and Aramaic. His dream is to one day pursue doctoral studies in computational linguistics applied to the texts of the Hebrew Bible, both the Masoretic Text and the Dead Sea Scrolls, using the latest advances in artificial intelligence.
