At the heart of Catholic identity lies the liturgy?both a mirror and a moulder of belief. In Horizons, the essays argue that authentic, culturally attuned worship must be participatory and inclusive. The liturgical question, often submerged beneath ecclesial debates, emerges here as the central axis of transformation.
The growth of Catholicism in the Global South and Pope Francis's emphasis on synodality challenge the old centre-periphery model. Can one faith be expressed in many voices without losing coherence? This book explores the opportunities and tensions of a genuinely global Church, shaped by local cultures. In this new globalised context, Catholicism must earn its relevance through listening, humility, and justice.
Horizons is a compelling invitation to engage the Church's future not with fear, but with faith, imagination, and the conviction that renewal begins in worship and flows outward into the world.
