A Directory of Planning Policies for Gypsy Site Provision in England

This directory contains the planning policies on Gypsy sites, and the stages through which development plans have gone, for each local authority in England. The publication shows what local authorities have been doing since 1994, when government guidance advised planning authorities to produce appropriate policies for Gypsy site provision and includes recommendations for future research in the area and possible amendments to national policy and guidance. It takes a critical and comprehensive look at this under-researched area of planning policy.
