Nan Stein is a senior research scientist at the Center for Research on Women at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she directs national projects on sexual harassment, gender violence, and teasing and bullying in schools. A nationally renowned expert in her field, Dr. Stein has published three teacher's guides in use in classrooms around the country. She lectures frequently and has served as an expert witness in a number of sexual harassment law suits. Dr. Stein was formerly a middle school social studies teacher in Dayton, Ohio, and a drug and alcohol counselor in the Somerville, Massachusetts, schools.
