Life after Leukaemia

In 1976 Wayne Reed was a healthy, athletic sixteen year old with a full life ahead of him. Then, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia was diagnosed and he was forced to fight for his life. For the next two and a half years he underwent intensive treatment including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and suffered the associated physical and mental trauma. "Life After Leukaemia" tells of his successful battle with the disease. How he placed total faith in his doctor and his own ability to cope and win. Now at the age of 29, Wayne together with his wife Ann, and two young daughters, lives an active life, free from any effects of Leukaemia. Wayne wrote this book as a source of hope, and helpful information to the many others fighting cancer.
