Part of a series which examines the workings of the human body. This book describes how the body feels different sensations focusing on touch through the skin; the sense of touch is a multi-sense based on the skin. Skin can detect light, temperature, pressure, pain and texture. The workings of the skin, hair and nails are all explained through the story of a child searching for an object.
