Atonement

Bill Duvall travels to Paris for the funeral of his friend Ahmed Bengana. Ahmed, an Algerian, jumped to his death from a 23rd-floor office. Investigating Ahmed's "suicide" leads Bill into the maelstrom of French racial politics in crisis and to a deadly assassination plot.
