Growing

This text provides practical activity ideas with photocopiable stories, poems and songs based on the early years topic of growing. The six chapters of activities cover areas such as growing up, animal life-cycles, plant growth, growing food and how we use things that grow. There are eight photocopiable sheets providing linking activities and two further chapters offer ideas for effective displays and assemblies. A topic web for planning links the activities to preparing for the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5-14 guidelines.
