In January 1966 the sexually-assaulted bodies of two little girls were discovered on Cannock Chase near Birmingham. A third child was abducted and murdered 17 months later. This book - written by a retired detective who worked at all levels of the four-year-long investigation - describes the investigation. The book was originally published by Gomer Press in 1988 under the title "Not the Moors Murders: a Detective's Story of the Biggest Child-killer Hunt in History".
