Coronary Sinus Interventions in Cardiac Surgery

Within the first section of this book the micro-anatomy of the coronary sinus is explained with its course and shape, length and width, myocardial cover and initial and terminal valves. The number, diameter and mode of openings of the major cardiac veins are determined and documented. A description and interpretation of the draining systems of the human heart with regard to the coronary sinus intervention methods is discussed in the second part.
