In recent years, several existing advances have taken place in the field of flexible bronchoscopy. Divided into four separate sections Theraputic Broncoscopy presents a clear and succinct discussion of the current clinical role, technical and procedural details, and potential complications of individual flexible bronchoscopy techniques. Although the scope of flexible bronchoscopy has rapidly expanded, the field is still evolving, and there is limited information available through published literature leaving many fundamental questions to remain unanswered. With a great need for evidence-based literature addressing newer developments in bronchoscopy, we have written a text that combines the latest information, combined with expert testimony, derived from clinical experience.
