Understanding Doctrine

An exploration of what doctrine is and why it matters to Christian believers. While conceding that, to many, doctrine does seem an irrelevance, made to seem unreal by more profound experiences of God, the author suggests that thinking about doctrine is an excellent way of deepening one's faith.
