Play it Safe

Every year, more than 800 children in the United Kingdom die from injuries caused by accidents. This book, published to accompany a BBC television series and a national campaign co-ordinated by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, offers parents information and reassurance towards maximizing their children's safety. Taking the reader on an tour of the home, the book discusses hazard areas and gives instructions on what to do in the event of an accident. Other areas covered include outside the home, road and car safety, playing with toys, shopping, holidays, travel, sports and babysitting.
