The Crying Baby

In this book the issues involved in the problem of a crying baby are discussed and advice and comfort offered. It describes the reality of the problem - the mother's and father's feelings of guilt, frustration, anger, despair and exhaustion and the impact of other people's professional and personal concern - sometimes helpful, but often not. The effect on a couple's relationship - a mother or father lashing out at the end of their tether, possibly harming the baby - is examined. Advice on interpreting the crying is included.
