The Black Rubber Dress

Cool, savvy and sharp Sam Jones lives in a disused warehouse in Holloway where she sculpts large silvery mobiles and entertains the reluctantly adulterous Detective Sergeant Hawkins. When Sam's sculpture Thing II - renamed by her agent 'Undiscovered Planet' - has it's unveiling in the vast atrium of a City bank, our rubber clad heroine little suspects that she will soon be having a hot affair with a BMW-driving, Kingston dwelling stockbroker, calling in favours from hackers and defending herself against a drug-crazed, anorexic Sloane in order to solve a blackmail mystery and a murder in which Thing II is falsely being accused of being the murder weapon.
