Slim Chance

This Doctor Atkins takes dieting to new extremes. Two women from Bath disappear within weeks of each other - one is found dead while the second is discovered by Chris Honeysett, artist and part-time PI, at a deserted railway station. Barely alive, she is being slowly and deliberately starved by a murderer the police dub 'Dr Atkins.' And now he wants his revenge on Chris for having spoilt his fun. He abducts Alison, a close friend, so Chris now has to follow a paperchase of obscure historical riddles around Bath in order to keep Alison alive.
