Patrick B. Griffin received a BA, LLB from NUI Galway, and qualified as a solicitor. He later studied at Universite Pantheon-Assas, Paris II in Paris and was awarded a Masters degree in European Commercial Law. He was subsequently awarded a Ph.D in the same field. He worked with a number of international law firms both in Brussels and Paris, and now works in Dublin as a consultant lawyer, and lecturer. He is the author of numerous articles in the area of European law and has edited various legal journals.
