Mo-Organische Verbindungen / Organomolybdenum Compounds 13

The volume contains all available information on mononuclear organomolybdenum compounds with one 6L ligand, an additional nD electron donor, and up to three 1L ligands. The main part of the volume deals with the numerous complexes where 6L is benzene or a substituted benzene. The properties, including the spectroscopy, and the reactivity of these complexes are described in detail. A large number of compounds is known where the Mo(CO)3 moiety is bonded to 6L ligands such as cycloheptatriene, cyclooctatriene, cyclooctatetraene, higher carbocycles, or more or less complicated polycyclic carbocycles. C7H8Mo(CO)3 is a versatile starting material for the synthesis of a considerable number of Mo complexes, and these reactions are summarized.
