This book tells the story of what the author claims was Allied ignorance, apathy, and malice in the face of Hitler's appalling "Final Solution". The book reveals why, despite mounting evidence of mass slaughter from many sources in Nazi-occupied Europe, the Allies failed to act. The author is the official biographer of Sir Winston Churchill, having completed the 8-volume biography of the statesman begun by Randolph Churchill.
