Bone Marrow Transplantation

Bone marrow transplantation has come of age and is now a treatment of choice in many kinds of cancer. It is thus of great interest in the hematological and oncological communities with an increased use of the procedure to current hematological deficiencies and other disorders. There is a 20-year experience of allogeneic and a 10-year experience with BMT. Most of the existing literature dealing with bone marrow transplantation is either symposia or siminar proceedings or deal with advances in BMT. This is the first comprehensive reference which deals with allogeneic and autologous transplantation, hematologic malignancy and solid tumors and non-malignant diseases, as well as the basic science, complications, techniques, and so on.
