International Issues in Critical Care

This issue of "Critical Care Clinics", edited by the president of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine, serves to inform readers about critical care medicine around the world in relation to different aspects such as organization, how it is delivered, and how it is practiced. In addition this issue looks at medical education, the most frequent patologies, mortality, and differences between developed countries and emerging countries.
