Surprise! Primary 1 Starter and Grammar Practice

"Surprise!" is a fun two-level primary course. It has been specially researched and fully tested in the classroom to ensure progressive development of pupil's language skills. Each Course Book presents new grammatical and lexical items in a continuing story, using dialogues in natural everyday language that constantly recycle what has already been learnt. Each unit focuses on a particular grammatical area which is an integral part of the story each time. The story is about some children and their wizard teacher, Mr Marvel. They are also joined by their friends, Super and Duper. Each Course Book contains: 20 carefully graded units designed to be simple to use and easy to teach; lively and attractive illustrations, stickers and songs to maintain a high level of motivation; a clear, step-by-step approach to developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; manageable revision units every five units; an accompanying cassette to ensure fun and stimulating lessons; and, lovable characters whose adventures continue to engage pupils' attention and fire their imagination as they learn English.
