This business course in Spanish aims to meet a variety of needs in vocational language learning. Assuming a basic knowledge of Spanish, the course develops oral/aural skills in a business context, with practice provided. A section is devoted to the development of writing skills. The book is designed to be of use for those preparing for the BTEC National and Higher National Diplomas, RSA and LCCI vocational examinations, as well as those attending degree courses with a business/management element in polytechnics and universities. The course deals primarily with establishing and developing import/export contacts and follows the progress of a British businessman from his first encounter with the Spanish market to the successful conclusion of a contract in Madrid.
