More True Stories Cass

This cassette contains humorous, high-interest stories from magazines and newspapers. Intended for elementary and intermediate English language students, the vocabulary and structures used in the stories are controlled to match those of a typical beginning ESL course. At the same time, language is natural. The readings should spark classroom discussions, and the pre- and post-reading exercises should encourage comprehension through vocabulary development, reading skills such as making inferences, understanding details, recognizing cause and effect, cultural insights and personalizing ideas and themes.
