The Infant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood is a developmental psychology journal focusing on early social and emotional development and characteristics that influence social-emotional development from relationship-based perspectives. We focus on the prenatal-age 5 period and employ relationship-based perspectives in key research questions and interpretation and implications of findings. We are dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to the optimal development of infants, toddlers, very young children, their families, caregivers, and teachers.
