Stott Park Bobbin Mill: How a Bobbin Was Made

This is one of a series of videos which introduces historic properties managed by English Heritage, and encourages investigative learning approaches by looking at physical evidence of the past. Tracing the history of Stott Park Bobbin Mill, which was built in 1835 and typical of the many which supplied the spinning industry, this video shows a skilled craftsman demonstrating how bobbins were made.
