Approach to Urinary Incontinence in the Elderly

This programme takes a straightforward approach to the examination of bladder mechanics and the treatment of urinary incontinence in elderly patients. It presents a dual approach to treatment: a functional status assessment and a treatment plan. It suggests the Folstein Mine-Mental state for determining mental status and the Katz ADL scale to determine ability to participate in activities of daily living.
