Sister Wendy's Saints Video

Filmed mostly in Italy, this video provides a backdrop to the stories told by Sister Wendy, in which she celebrates the bimillenary of Christ, with this look at the lives of saints, told through works of art. She illustrates dramatic tales of treachery, torture, love and courage with visits to places where the saints lived and died including St Marks Square in Venice, the hill town of Assissi, the Appian Way and the great dome of St Peter's in Rome.
