Trondheim & Malvikmarka - Stikart

Trondheim, Malvik and Stjordal are surrounded by beautiful outdoor areas for walks in the forest, in the mountains and by the sea all year round. This map shows the many possibilities and the great variety for an urban outdoor life.

In Bymarka as well as in Mostadmarka, Jonsvannsmarka and Malvikmarka there are paths and ski tracks criss-crossing, groomed ski slopes in winter and well-marked hiking routes for summer. Pilgrimage routes come from all directions and point towards Nidaros Cathedral. Well marked on the map are i.a. also bathing areas, recreation areas with a universal design and popular summit hikes and viewpoints.

The Trondheim and Malvikmarka map has been published by Calazo foerlag, following input from central tourism and outdoor recreation players in the region. This is part of a modern map series where the terrain information is based on laser scanning from aircraft, which gives a great wealth of detail with an almost three-dimensional impression. The map includes all marked hiking routes, ski slopes, swimming areas and kayak hire in the entire coverage area, and is intended for year-round use.
