Tate - Nudes Wall Calendar 2020

Often used to express ideals of male and female beauty throughout the ages, nude artworks were particularly popular in ancient Greek art and during the Renaissance. This Tate calendar features a collection of paintings from artists including Sir John Everett Millais, Edgar Degas, Theodore Roussel and Auguste Renoir. The Royal Academy of Arts have an exhibition running over the summer of 2019 called 'The Renaissance Nude' which celebrates the human form and will feature an array of classic painters from the same era.
