Mrs.Delany Notebook

In autumn 1772, Mrs Delany (1700-88) wrote to her niece, Mary Port "I have invented a new way of imitating flowers". With her eye for botanical detail, she cut minute pieces of paper to create her famous flower collages, now in the British Museum collections, and reflected in this pretty notebook.
