Koziej studied at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Conservatorio di Torino, and has been tutored by Eriks Esenvalds, Bob Chilcott, Ko Matsushita, and Pawel Lukaszewski. Her works have been performed worldwide, and she has won multiple composition awards, including AERCO, Italy, and the International Girls' Choir Composition Competition, Latvia.
