Premier Map of Derby

This new Premier Map of Derby replaces the Derby Town Plan and takes the next edition number (6). The coverage, scale and layout are the same, however, this publication is in full colour. The reference panel has been extended to show the new colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial. In the street index section selected places of interest are now included and highlighted in red type.
