for SATB (with divisions) unaccompanied
Dona nobis pacem is an expressive setting that combines two lines on the subject of peace from the Ordinary of the Latin Mass. A slow tempo lends grace and poise to the gentle, sustained vocal lines and lush choral harmonies, and the composer juxtaposes homophonic and contrapuntal writing to great effect. The piece was composed in 2010 and may be performed in the alternative key of B major.
