Pain Management: Pharmacological Treatment Strategies (DVD)

This program examines the two major groups of pharmacological treatment modalities: non-narcotic and narcotic. Adjuvant medications in pain management are also explored and guidelines on treatment approaches for the types and delivery routes of medications are presented. It summarizes the pharmacological treatment strategy by discussing the etiologies and treatment trajectories for acute, chronic non-malignant and chronic malignant pain.
