"Properties of Organic Compounds" is a new CRC database on CD-ROM that features physical data, spectral data, and structures for over 27,000 of the most commonly sought organic compounds. A high-quality display, powerful search capabilities, high-resolution output, and superior help utility (context-sensitive and on-line) make this database a quick, easy-to-use tool for identifying unknown compounds or for locating additional data and references on a known compound. Data can be searched by: properties (ranges and combinations included); boiling point; melting point; density; molecular weight; spectral peaks; mass spectra; infrared; raman; ultraviolet; NMR; name/synonym; molecular formula - atoms can be entered in any order; and CAS Registry Number - numbers can be entered with or without hyphens. "Properties of Organic Compounds" will operate on an IBM PC or compatible with an 80386 microprocessor or higher, 2MB RAM, and a hard drive with 2MB of available disk space. You will also need a VGA monitor, 5.25" or 3.5" high-denisty disk drive, CD-ROM drive using MSCDEX Version 2.0 or higher, and Microsoft Windows (TM) version 3.1.
