TeX Collection 2010 contains:
* proTEXt: an easy to install TeX system for MS Windows. It is based on MiKTeX, with additional tools: WinEdt (30 days evaluation version) or TEXnicCenter as user interfaces with integrated editors and Ghostscript/GSview for viewing PostScript and PDF files.
* MacTeX: an easy to install TeX system for Mac OS X. It is based on gwTEX, with TeXShop, XeTEX, and Excalibur included. Other utilities are also available.
* CTAN: the Comprehensive TEX Archive Network, a set of servers worldwide making TeX software publically available. This DVD contains a snapshot of the German CTAN node, dante.ctan.org.
* TeX Live: a rich TEX system that can be run directly from DVD or installed on hard disk. This TeX Live system includes binaries for Linux (i386, x86_64, Alpha, Sparc), MacOS X (PowerPC, i386), FreeBSD (i386), SGI Irix, AIX (PowerPC), Solaris (Sparc) and MS Windows (experimental installer).
