Database of Stress Intensity Factors

This is a commercial software package of the important parameters of stress intensity factors (K-factors). This program can be used to accurately determine values of K-factors for particular geometries, each configuration of which is selected via a simple menu system. Four quadrants are displayed for each configuration and these are: geometry and equations, stress intensity factor plot, text description (including references, geometry, estimated accuracy of the solution etc); and a calculator. The calculator can be used to evaluate the stress intensity factor for any point on the graph. Each of the four quadrants can be individually closed to reduce the amount of information displayed. The database is intended for use by engineers and researchers working in the field of fracture mechanics.
