Dr. Jai Malik
As an Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. Malik has a strong research focus on natural product standardization and their pharmacology, particularly on plant drugs having neuroprotective potential. He has published peer- reviewed publications in reputed journals, two books and various book chapters. Dr. Malik's work bridges traditional medicine and modern pharmacology. He has received accolades including the PD Sethi Memorial Award, best research paper awards at various national and international conferences for his contributions to phytochemical research, and fellowship by UNIDO. His ongoing studies explore plant-based therapeutics for neurological disorders, aligning with the global shift toward evidence-based herbal medicine.
Dr. G. David Lin
Dr. G. David Lin is Adjunct Associate Professor at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University. His research focuses on the chemistry, pharmacology, and biotechnology of natural products. Dr Lin has held academic positions in both Australia and the United States, and currently serves in the Australian public service. He established the Natural Products Research Laboratory at Southern Cross University and was a founding Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy at the University of Canberra.
Dr. Rachel W. Li
Associate/Professor Rachel W. Li is a molecular pharmacologist and osteoimmunologist with interests in understanding the processes that control a 'foreign body reaction or response' initiated by biomaterials implanted/natural compounds into bone or exposed to human cells. With her clinician background, she led several clinical trials in anti-viral and anti-inflammatory drugs and successfully transferred an intellectual property to the pharmaceutical industry. Dr Li established the Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Unit Laboratory (TORU Lab) at the Australian National University, which pioneered basic orthopaedic research in the ACT region. She is currently leading her team in clinical based laboratory research focuses on osteoimmunology and biomaterials for medical implants. She has made great research contributions to the fields of osteoimmunology and medical education in the USA and Australia.
Professor Subhash C. Mandal
Dr. Subhash C. Mandal, Ph.D., is Professor at Division of Pharmacognosy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Professor Mandal is the recipient of prestigious awards including Endeavour Research Award, Government of Australia; Distinguished Education & Research Award, AAiPS, United States; UGC Research Award, India and Outstanding University Teachers' Award, Department of higher education Government of West Bengal, India. He has supervised more than 35 doctoral and 30 M. Pharm scholars and has more than 200 research publications, several patents, books and book chapters to his credit.
Dr. Prerna Sarup
Currently working as a faculty (ad hoc) at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr Prerna is a recipient of 8th Global Excellence Teacher Award - 2018 for excellent achievements in education field on National Education Day by ACFI and UGC Research Fellowships in Science for Meritorious Students (UGC-RFSMS) to pursue her doctoral degree from Panjab University. She has been associated with providing quality pharmacy education as an academician and researcher from past 20 years. She has presented her research at various national and international conferences, wherein she was conferred with Best Paper Award thrice. She has published various research and review articles, in prestigious journals, primarily in areas of natural product isolation, drug discovery, development of herbal formulations and drug delivery.
