Asraful Alam is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Rampurhat College, affiliated to The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. He has completed his Postgraduate degree from the Department of Geography at Visva-Bharati. He furthered his expertise by obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics from Jadavpur University, enhancing his proficiency in the field.
