Nanoplatforms for Cancer Imaging explores the transformative role of nanotechnology in biomedical imaging, with a focus on advancing cancer diagnosis and treatment. This book provides a comprehensive overview of nanoplatform-based imaging techniques, detailing their unique advantages over traditional diagnostic methods. By integrating insights from nanotechnology, imaging science, and oncology, it offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the latest innovations in the field.
Addressing both fundamental principles and cutting-edge developments, this book covers the physicochemical properties of nanomaterials, their interactions with biological systems, and their application in enhancing imaging sensitivity and specificity. It examines emerging technologies such as quantum dots, gold nanoparticles, and multifunctional nanocomposites, while also discussing the integration of artificial intelligence for improved imaging outcomes. Additionally, the book bridges the gap between laboratory research and clinical practice by highlighting case studies, regulatory considerations, and real-world applications of nanoplatforms in cancer diagnosis.
Designed as a resource for researchers, clinicians, and students, this book provides foundational knowledge while also exploring future directions in nanoplatform-based imaging. It emphasizes the potential of image-guided therapy and targeted drug delivery, illustrating how nanotechnology contributes to more precise and personalized oncology solutions. By fostering scientific knowledge and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, Nanoplatforms for Cancer Imaging serves as an essential guide for those seeking to understand and advance this promising field.
