As I Walk in the Heart of God

Our Lord Jesus has opened up the path of life that leads to peace and prosperity for our souls. Victories in the Lord come from battles in our lives, battles that help us cry to God for strength to overcome. As I walk with God, he does not interfere with my choices, but when I choose to walk with him and search for the precious message of his heart, that is where I find peace that passes all understanding.

I am a private person; life seems easier when I keep to myself. But in my journey of life, I found that I can tell God anything, and he still loves me. I journal because it's easier for me to put my thoughts on paper. It lets me work through problems and feelings that do not serve me and many times are unwanted. Through my journaling, meditating, and reading God's word, I receive renewed energy of happiness and joy. It also lets me appreciate what I have in life. I have an old, thankful journal I found one day. I started it in a time of trial, a time where you wondered what to truly be thankful for. It was refreshing to read and inspired my heart. Many times, I'm thankful for the same things over and over again. They were trying things, hard things, yet I was thankful for the experience and people in my life. Sometimes I find a special rock, a pebble, that I can keep in my pocket, and when I feel it, I think of something I am thankful for. I took some English classes in college, my worst subject, as I still have problems following the rules of etiquette. Word processing has become my best friend in teaching me ways to overcome grammatical mistakes. I do not have any awards or academic achievements. My credentials are a love for God and His love for me.
