Enterprise Architecture and Cartography

Pedro Sousa is Associated Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon University, where he created the courses on Enterprise Architecture and on Business Processes Management and Engineering. He worked in different industries, both in the public and the private sector, and in several countries in Europe and South America. He is author of and responsible for the Atlas cartography tool to support architecture maintenance. Focused on providing better solutions to organizations, he has combined academic research and industrial practice to exploit innovative solutions for managing organizational transformations for the past 20 years.

André Vasconcelos is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon University, and researcher at INESC-ID, focusing on the modelling and evaluation of enterprise architectures. He has over 16 years of experience in advising organizations about information systems and enterprise architectures in both public and private sector projects.
