Steven G. Rose grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Following high school, he was a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees, he worked in financial institutions for the majority of his 35-year career. Today, Rose lives in Michigan with his wife of nearly 40 years.
