Kennedy Helland is starting her senior year of high school in a small town in eastern Montana. However, what should be the start of a new beginning for her is tainted by the death of her older sister, Jess, nearly two years prior during her own senior year. Grappling with the loss of a sister and a teammate, Kennedy is left picking up the pieces of relationships she has with not only those in her life, but the sport the two shared a passion for: basketball.
Following Kennedy and others from her hometown of Hysham, Class C tells the complicated story of growing up in a small town, carving your own path, and the impact that sports have on the lives of those that live in rural America.

Shiloh Robison was born and raised at the edge of southeastern Montana in a small town just off the interstate. A marketing and communications manager by day and a photographer and author by night, Shiloh is a recovering English major who is still trying to figure out how she ended up with a master's of science degree as well. Her free moments are few and far between, but when she's not behind a camera or burying her nose in a book, she can be found catching live music, trying new breweries, traveling, spending time with friends and family, or cuddling her dog.
