Anthony Neste was born in New York City and began his career on the other side of the camera, working in film and television production as an assistant to many advertising and commercial clients. In 1980, he shot his first assignment for Sports Illustrated. This began a steady 17-year relationship working on an incredible variety of sporting events across the nation. Soon after, be also began working for HBO, doing everything from shooting publicity unit stills on movie sets to documenting live music concerts and comedy shows. In 1999, Anthony became the photographer for The Sopranos and produced some of the most memorable publicity photographs from that show during the its three years. Along the way, Neste also photographed countless new and experienced models, designing breathtaking and inventive shoots that helped them launch or advance their careers and push the envelope of his personal creative style. For over thirty years, Neste's technical expertise and imaginative approaches to his subjects have continued to produce a body of work with a unique blend of feeling, composition, and color.
